What it is

Reframing means looking at the same situation from a perspective that is more accurate, useful, or accountable.

How to do it
Identify the current frame.
Ask what emotion it creates.
Ask whether the frame is accurate.
Choose a more neutral or accountable frame.
Choose behavior from the new frame.
